Did you know that there's more to Improv than Short-Form games like "Whose Line?"
Well, there is! While "Whose Line"-style games are great fun, there's an entire other kind of Improv that takes it's time to breath and explore character, emotion, and story. It's called "Long Form" Improv and for the last 8 weeks, a group of very talented students has been studying this type of Improv with the help of our newest instructor, Jason Parker!
Jason has been teaching, coaching, and performing improv comedy for over two decades. He’s had the opportunity to train with directors, instructors and alumni from Second City, Annoyance, Improv Olympics and the Upright Citizens Brigade... and now he's brought his amazing skills to Improv Chattanooga!
The class wraps up with a Showcase show on Tuesday, November 14th at The Granfalloon at 8pm. Led by Jason, the students will put on a show featuring several Long Forms, each lasting around 20 minutes.
